Real-time 360° Panoramic CCTV Video Image Presentation

The REVADER 360 Totem has an enabling technology which generates seamless, undistorted, Spatial 360° images and real time video to HD standards, for security and other applications.

Unlike other systems on the market which may utilise two or more lenses or cameras to generate wide angle views, the REVADER 360 Totem system generates complete “doughnuts” or cylinder images using a single parabolic mirror, and un-wraps and un-distorts these in real time.

This process creates a flat panoramic image, completely unwrapped and undistorted, compared with strips or bands of undistorted images which other multi lens solutions may offer.

The technology can capture and process seamless video to HD format, and greater if required, which offers the potential to zoom without loss of resolution, and without distortion. Because the flat images are generated from a volumetric seamless surface, the operator has the ability to navigate and roam in real time through the image and video stream.

A special bespoke feature which can be designed to suit client applications, is the ability to have numerous motion detection points, including automatic zoom function, into these image sectors.

Radar spatial awareness systems, or Sound/noise direction systems can also be incorporated.

Another advanced navigation feature will enable operators to latch on and follow one or more objects simultaneously through a complete space. This can be combined with facial recognition for security, protection and anti theft measures, or logistics applications.

In the case of multi motion detect, or “Latch-on” to multiple objects, the action can be followed in real time via a single screen or a multi-monitor viewing system.

The design of the Totem 360 system can be adapted for specific applications, and the view zone can be adjusted. If necessary a secondary lens can be incorporated top or bottom to create a complete Volumetric view. These Volumetric images are formed on a Volumetric “doughnut” and are then unwrapped and undistorted to form a single flat image. This process occurs in real time.

The system has the unique ability to operate in the infra-red spectrum and can be utilised as a monitoring system or as an auxiliary smoke and fire management system.
